We know almost all of us love gifts and many of us here like to gift others. Yet gifting has rules by itself; if not, our trading community will turn into a gifting community and there is no game to play anymore. With that in mind, MonopolyGOChat introduces several gifting programs to meet your need such as Ask and Gift, Album Closing Gift, Happy Date Gift program.
1. The Ask and Gift Program 🎅
- Post when you want to gift 4star/5star cards anytime; if 4star cards, it should be 3 or more cards;
- Post when you are in difficult situations e.g. need a 4star/5star card to get dice for the event which you could not find anywhere for AT LEAST 2 days.
- Post when you need 5star cards to close the album, you can ask for gift. Someone may gift OR lend you which you have to repay later following the lender’s condition if you take it;
- During the last week of each album season, it may open to your needs for 4star/5star cards ONLY to close a set for dice. Someone may gift OR lend you which you have to repay later following the lender’s condition if you take it;
- No asking for gifts under trading Posts from others.
- The givers may or should ask the receivers to make a request for that card from his/her game account to make sure he/she needs it if they want.
- We are against asking for gifts just because you want it without a HARD SEARCH or an actual need since the community DOES really care to help!
2. The Album Closing Gift Program 📗
- The program would be used to celebrate yourself for completing an album of stickers.
- The player who is going to close their album for a new round will share some cards (4star, 5star) as gift for those that are in need. Those who participate in this program should do the same (not obligation for every album but at least 1 time per 2 album closing).
- A Post in this program is valid for the posted date ONLY. We don’t trace back after that date which annoys the givers. Thus, only look for Posts in the current day.
3. The Happy Date Gift Program 💝
- Every month, on the 15th, all members who have “happy-date” in that month will be listed out in the channel automatically by the Bot.
- Other members who participate in the channel should gift one sticker (either ANY 4star or 5star) to a few random members who are listed with “happy-date” in that month, encouraging but not obligation. Thus on your happy date, it does not guarantee you will receive gifts.
- This is a kind of surprised gifts, and thus there is NO asking about link, ONLY send gift to those you want in the friend list. There is no guarantee you will receive a gift in your “happy-date” although it’s much more likely you will.
- This is a way to celebrate a happy day, one per year, for each participated member, similarly to your birthday.
In any kind of gifts, the rule of thumb is “first come, first served” BUT givers have the right to choose the receivers. We encourage and protect more the rights of givers and sharers. And we do care about actual needs as well.
